I wanted it to look imposing and very old and symbolic of early western European architecture for religious buildings as possible. The clouds and brilliant light and enhanced grainy feel feel good in an impending doom sort of way (humor, here).

You wouldn't believe the ruckus this statue served as catalyst to before installation. Funded by folks who wished to restore the statue's presence in the city, original destroyed by a horse and buggy accident. Long story. Email me and I'll give it to you.

8 viewsThis is not riparian in that it is an irrigation ditch. However, the reflection and clarity thereof with the pine and aspen in fall is worth the effort to get the shot. Taken along the road to Klamath Falls in south-central Oregon.
